This place was exceptional! The atmosphere was super authentic, and the jukebox really enhanced the experience. However, the real reason that this location gets 5 stars is the AMAZING FOOD!!!
I went here with my sister (she goes here frequently, but this was only my second time), and both of us are gluten free. The menu had so many diverse, clearly labeled options. And these options were absolutely DELICIOUS!
I'll definitely be coming back more often! -

I'm not afraid to admit, prior to this visit, I never set foot in a Silver Diner.
After this experience, I hope there are many more settings of the foot into Silver Diners.
My friend and I were on our way to a museum about space and air and needed to fuel up before the long day of walking and exploring. The 'ol Yelp machine led us to this location. Sort of needing to get in and out in a reasonable time, on a Sunday nonetheless, we took a gamble. It paid off.
There wasn't even a line when we arrived and were promptly seated.
The food had to come out in some sort of record time. We were pleased about that, now we could chow down and get out. Our server was pleasant and attentive, which always adds to the experience.
Taste? Oh so tasty. I was extremely pleased with my meal. Delighted. Can't wait to hit up another Silver Diner! -

Delicious food and the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a restaurant!!! We had a few issues, at first, but considered them to be minor ones. To our surprise and delight, the manager came by to check on us and address the issues that we had. He invited us back, and I'm positive we will take him up on it.
We were there for breakfast, but there are a variety of dishes, including many that are vegan. The food is locally sourced and very healthy. -

A parent's brunch dream come true.
I've never been a big fan of brunch. It's overhyped, and I'm definitely not trying to stand in line for 1.5 hours with a baby (or without a baby! Seriously, I get that you have extra time on the weekend, but I'm not trying to waste it like that!)
Cue in Silver Diner. They open super early, so when our tot is up at 6:30, we can just roll in!
Do any research on Silver Diner, and you'll hear all about Chef Ype and his awesome "flexitarian" ideas. He really brings in some unique seasonal dishes that incorporate the latest trends, like adding burrata to avocado toast.
I've liked most of what I tried. My only complaint about the coconut quinoa pancakes was that they are "too healthy," and I was hungry later, but the grilled bananas were money. The fried chicken and waffles is amazing, especially the cherry pepper jelly! Veggie huevos rancheros are also great!
The service is fast and attentive, and there's never a long wait. Everyone is always very nice and accommodating to our baby. We love it here! -

I haven't been to Silver Diner in forever.
It's changed, in so many good ways! I'm loving their menu. The hostess was friendly and our server was awesome. She was so sweet, attentive, and helpful. Had to start out with some cheese fries. Love that they let us order this during breakfast time. The cheese fries are perfect for sharing. We enjoyed our avocado and bruschetta toasts. It was well made and quality ingredients are used. Ended with their churro doughnuts, which were dangerously good. Slightly crisp and fluffy cinnamon sugar doughnuts with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Yum! We had a lovely meal and the conversation was even better.
So glad G and I decided to meet up for breakfast here.
